THE SOMERSET FAMILY
In January 2000, Army veteran Mike Smith took a leap of faith, starting a logistics company from his home on Somerset Drive with the determination of building a better life for his family.
Over the years, Somerset continued to grow, moving offices twice and expanding its team and agent program. In 2016, Mike’s daughter Maggie joined the company, followed by his daughter Shelby in 2019. Together, they bring the family’s core values to the business—respect, integrity, and leading with the intent to always “do the right thing” ensuring that Somerset remains a company where its people and relationships come first.
